Ryanair booking

I need to fly Venice – Corfu on Sunday 7 September after 1pm
Kayak finds Ryanair option – Venice – Barcelona and Barcelona - Corfu. Total 5 hours 30mins. With a 70 mins change in Barcelona – which I appreciate is tight!
On Ryanair I cannot find this same option, is that because I would need to book 2 completely separate flights on Ryanair? Presumably 2 sets of Ryanair costs bags ect…?
The Kayak 5 hours 30 mins option as above, can be booked though uk.mytrip.com which claims:
‘Our Self-transfer Guarantee To offer you the best possible service when you travel on a Self-transfer, we always include a Self-transfer Guarantee in your deal. This means we will help you find the best possible flight option if you miss a connection because of delay, schedule change or cancellation.’
Any experience of this?
What would you do?
Thanks

What would I do? Probably consider booking a direct flight from Treviso to Corfu at 16.25.2

I would think 70 minutes if you have checked baggage would be unlikely..you will need to disembark, wait for an collect baggage and make your way to the Ryanair check-in desk (front of the queue) before it closes 40 minutes before the flight.
Often these 'guarantees' are fairly useless...some say they will get back to you within 24 hours. They say they will 'help you find the best option' does that mean you will be buying a new ticket? ... the next direct flight from Barcelona will be four days later
For separate flights usually 4 hours+ is recommended between flights
It does not look an easy route to plan if you have no flexibility in departure time/date but I would not risk the option you have found0 -

Wouldnt even consider it. Always a chance you are on a remote stand at BCN (although the one occasion I did fly into BCN on Ryanair they did actually use an airbridge, which is generally a rarity for Ryanair on my travels) and I wouldnt trust that Self Transfer Guarantee as far as I could throw it.
Two much better suggestions already posted.1 -

A bargepole would not be long enough!
As you have noticed, this is two separate Ryanair transactions, so two lots of fees for baggage; seat; priority and whatever else. Plus, you have zero protection if the first flight is delayed, or if there is a long queue at the bag-drop in Barcelona. The travel agent "guarantee" simply means that they will look online to see what other flights are available, something that you could do for yourself. (The only worthwhile guarantee of this kind is offered by Kiwi, and you have to pay a fair amount extra for it. Invoking that guarantee generally involves a wait of 24 hours.)
I would also point out that from Venice you would go East to get to Corfu, whereas Barcelona is a long way West. You are considering a journey that is like going from Crewe to Norwich via Dublin!0 -
Thanks, really helpful.
The 13.10 Treviso is to early.

thanks for this suggestion, however I cannot find this as a direct flight on Sunday 7th Sept, how did you find it please? many thanks0 -
I could not see a 1625 option on that day either - but surely it would be easier to get the lunchtime flight direct to avoid to faff of flying to Barcelona and then onward to Corfu?

I didn't see the later direct flight either whilst checking on SkyScanner. There is a flight via Athens that might be a better fit.
