Tree gunk on windscreen

I've found something 🙂
Went into local hardware to have a look. I need some window cleaner anyway.
Found nothing under motoring but standard window cleaner had Astonish which is a good doer on the carpet cleaner.
Spray, rub with paper towel and repeated. Then use the screen washer.
It got 95%off and now I can see where I'm going.
This didn't work with other products.I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

I wasn't talking about Brillo pads, just washing up scourers. Some are sold as non-scratch, therefore others must be liable to scratch.Arunmor said:

Daughters car had those black spots from parking under a tree and I bought some of the cheap blue clay
from Amazon that they advertise for car detailing.
She was washing her car and I got a small cap of the car shampoo to wet the clay and it removed the spots
easily.
I had some expensive clay but did not want to waste it removing so many black spots and surprised how
easily the cheap stuff removed them.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...1 -
Looks like tar… you can buy a specific tar remover at car accessory shops0

Try WD40 - it dissolves most resins
