I think that your friend's vehicle won't qualify for tax exemption unless she only uses it to help you meet your needs.1

Unfortunately, you cannot directly get a vehicle tax exemption (what used to be called a tax disc) for a car just because you have a Blue Badge and receive the higher rate of mobility allowance, if the car isn't registered in your name or the name of someone who uses the vehicle only for your needs.

If it's a big saving on road tax (some classes of road tax are >£700) and your friend is OK with it I'd consider changing the registration (V5C) document to your details. As long as the vehicle is for your use that's fine. It doesn't change the ownership. You can take the New Keeper slip off the old V5C with your certificate of entitlement letter from DLA/PIP. They will issue the free road tax immediately and a new V5C in your name/address will be sent automatically. They will likely then send another V5C again (can be 7 weeks) and that'll show DISABLED on the vehicle class.0

So as the car is not solely for the OP’s use, as above it does not qualify for the reduction..All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -
