SMART PARKING - PARKING CHARGE NOTICE - NEED HELP

Evening all,

Im in need of help, and i am glad i came here before paying or appealing.

Recently i recieved a parking charge notice for a car park i recently visted. On the notice they have sent me an image of me leaving and entering the car park with time stamps, but what confuses me i used a ticket machine for parking! So why are they using times for me entering and leaving the car park and not times for me getting the ticket? Now im unsure if the times on the ticket (this was over 2 weeks ago) did go over, if it did it was by mere minutes.

Please if anybody can offer advice on appeal through smart parking it would be appreciated. I have tried going through there already, only to the page where it asks for contact details, im safe to assume this is okay and not in anyway somehow be used against me as the driver?

The car is registered to my MIL, via PIP. Its not in my name although i am insured.

Does the PCN number start with SP?

How long does it say your car was there?

Did you not keep your P&D ticket?

Yes it starts with SP

MIL has to appeal, not you. This PCN Is not yours to appeal.

Or she transfers liability to you (see back of PCN) then you will receive your own PCN to appeal.

I can get her to appeal, do i do this through smart parking and use her details? If so is there anything special that needs to be said?

OK put her appeal in online saying that she wasn't driving but she has been assured that the driver paid and displayed, so  it must have been a system error or keypad typo in the VRM and she requires a (other vehicles partly redacted) list of payments made, including near miss VRMs.

Could you explain what you mean by other vehicles partly redacted 'other vehicles partly redacted) list of payments made, including near miss VRMs'

Am i essentially asking for a list of payments made for parking, including near miss VRMs, for entries made incorrrectly? basically asking them for proof of payment including where any near miss VRM was recorded?

Yep.

You need to flesh out - before POPLA - if this is a VRM typo case or if they are saying that the driver did pay for the right VRM but overstayed.
