No, it does not record at all, there is no internal memory and you cannot connect it to an external drive.

Suggest you search the SKY pages as to how the STREAM service and puck works.

No, you won't be able to. Seems binning the recordable boxes is the way the world is going.

I recently signed up to Virgin and didn't realise i would be getting their streaming box. Lasted one day with it before I rang them to cancel. Have to watch adverts on everything you "record" (it isn't a recording, it just pulls the programmes from the catch up services), I imagine the Sky puck is identical.

The Sky HD box I had was the best entertainment TV device I've ever had.   So easy to use and watch programmes on demand with a clean interface without adverts.    I'm afraid the puck/Sky Glass is a shadow of what it once was.    They really have gone down hill since they were bought out.

Totally agree. The Sky Puck is very restrictive. Sky Q is the way to go and hopefully they will keep the system but I doubt it

Sky Stream, the service that uses the puck will work with any ISP!

Do community fibre offer their own TV streaming services?

    I think not.

You can still sign up to Sky Q which records and has more channels than Sky Glass or Sky Stream https://www.sky.com/tv/sky-q?DCMP=tva-skycom:na_sky_q
