I'd assume the OP is talking about One UI 7.0 which very recently got rolled out and updated the icons.

tealady I believe you can change the icons in the Galaxy store - Apps > Theme tab > scroll down to Icons. There's one on the front page called [BT] One UI Onyx Icons that looks very similar to 6.0 at the moment.

I certainly wouldn't recommend trying to go back to 6.0 for the sake of icons.

Before that, I'd at least take a week or two getting used to the new icons - it's very common for people to naturally reject changes like this.

Is the OP talking about a Samsung phone ? TV? Smart fridge?

Hmm, I wonder if the OP is talking about icons and losing their texts and emails on their fridge or TV, or whether it could be related to the current ongoing mass rollout of their newest OS on their most used devices of which notably changes the icons... the suspense is killing me
