Just applied for the Santander FRISA! Fingers crossed and thanks for your help!
    No problem.
I actually split my existing ISA into 2 new ones, both over £10k, then opened a 1 year & 18 month fix with Santander. All done & dusted within a few days and codes for 2 x £50 vouchers received a few days later.
I could have got slightly higher rates but am simplifying my affairs (no new providers) for my Executors. Hope yours is as smooth.
Hi, does you mind me asking how you split your existing ISA into 2 new ones? I like what you have done here & I could potentially do this x 4 from my Zopa Smart ISA. Thanks
    Don’t mind you asking.
I had an existing Exclusive Flexible ISA with Virgin Money. Balance approx £21500. I opened a new VM Defined Access ISA & requested xfer of £11k from the Exclusive Flex, leaving approx £10500 behind.
I opened 2 new FRISAs with Santander, one for 12 months, 1 for 18 months and requested xfer of full balances of both VM ISAs, £10500 to the 12 month, £11k to the 18 month.
Typing that out makes it sound complicated, but it wasn’t and the whole process took only 7 days.
2 voucher codes received 7 days later.
