    I looked at the hardware id yesterday, took me to driveridentifier.com, seems to be there alright, but i'm reluctant to download anything from that site.
    I didn't know i was going to have trouble finding a driver or that it was 12 years old, it was advertised as plug and play!
    Anyway, guy refunded me today without having to return it, so cant be up to much anyway.
    Tp link one coming tomorrow, maybe better luck with that.

    It's fine to download from there. Just choose the link alongside the Driver description. Did you buy another 802.11n? :)

    The new one has arrived.
    Worked perfectly.
    Its a Tp Link TL-WN823N
