Keep going SRVR. I'm doing the same as you - and will be putting the proceeds into my ISA. I'll be announcing the profits in December:beer:

Have you tried any market research? I've made about £100 with retaileyes this year.:D Although some of the surveys are tedious.

I still reckon it's work trying a couple of bingo sites. I did two (it is boring - and I'm not greedy!) and made £30 profit on each one.:T

    Keep up the good work.

Hi there! Only this week have i begun to set myself a personal challenge. I am a mamber of survey sites such as ciao, lightspeed panel and a few more. I find that lightspeed send a lot of surveys and like a pp said i dont often get rejected. Also i am a member of quidco and another cashback site and have started doing other things. Alot of sites i am waiting to reach the minimum payout amount. My target is to make £100 per month (including making money other ways such as ebay etc) which is to go towards making me debt free (hopefully by december as it will be on top of my usual payments) although i think this is too optimistic .

Keep going!! You sound like you are doing great!

    Hi all ;)

It’s the end of the month cash up time / post and I would like to call this post.
    :D Great Expectations :D
    Source & Amount:

    SliceThePie - £20
    Surveys - £25
    Writers Share - £1.73
    eBay - £49.23
    Mysearchfunds - £26
    National Lottery - £10

This gives a total for April 2008 of £131.96
This gives a Running Total for 2008 of £753.96

    WHICH MEANS
My first target of £700 known as the “Realistic goal” has been beaten
    :Tw00t! :T

    AND
:rolleyes:I have 53.85% of my 2nd (Idealistic) Target of £1400

    Breakdown:

Slicethepie – This was hard work, partly due to motivational reasons, partly due to the fact that they changed to goal posts so I got less out this month as I did last for the same work
    .
Surveys – Finally some love from the silly number of surveys I have done. I managed to get some money finally out of them but with many more yet to even come close. I still feel like its filling 20 buckets 1 drop at a time but I gota keep trucking now I have started.

Writershare – This site just started, they pay £1 per comment you make on a topic if said comment is up to scratch. I did two comments and got paid for both although the evil paypal took a chunk hence loosing £0.27p. I didn’t want to do more until it was proven to be legit and it has been. They have had a few teething issues though due to their popularity and they are still not yet completely resolved. I do have hopes for this site though, so watch this space.

eBay – More crap disposed off, most of little money but a few for more, nothing special and they took ages to sell.

Mysearchfunds – Well this was the first month I was due a payment and only the second month they have paid out as they are still new. That said however it got paid on time and its easy money, just being paid for searching as I would normally search. PM me for details as its more than I want to write here to explain it. Suffice to say, so far so good.

    National Lottery – I won £10 w00t! :j

    Conclusion:

My main hope for this month was to get beyond the first target; I did not expect it to be this good. Although I still haven’t been paid by quidco  but they do assure me that it should be next month. I’ll wait until I have it before I believe them.

Now its time to update my signature and look to the next target and I am only half way there, so there’s much work to be done. Passing my first target is a major boost, even though I expected to do at least this much which is why I called it my “Realistic” target. To do it in 4 months though gives me hope despite the hard work to date, it wont be easy, but hopefully wont be unreachable either.

Thanks for all your support and stuff, I think without this being public it would have been much harder to motivate myself. The pressure of public failure it seems is a good motivator and your advice and encouragement posts helped a lot.
    :money:

LOL I feel like I am writing an acceptance speech for the Oscars or something and like them going on too long. I better give myself a reality check and remember winning a contest where you’re the only player isn’t that much of a big deal. Then again at least I didn’t loose to myself either :rotfl:

    Hi all :j

It’s the end of the month cash up time / post and I would like to call this post.
:D Nobody Expects the Unexpected :D
    Source & Amount:

    Market Research- £85
    Boots - £12
    Surveys - £21
    eBay - £146
    Mysearchfunds - £26
    Quidco - £101

This gives a total for April 2008 of £391

This gives a Running Total for 2008 of £1145 (rounded to nearest pound)

:rolleyes:I have 81.75% of my 2nd (Idealistic) Target of £1400

    Breakdown:

Market Research - Finally after 5 months of waiting I got some market research and just like buses 2 came at once, w00t!

Boots Card - I swear this is one of the best value reward cards going!

Surveys - After 5 months and endless surveys i have started getting some money out, hard work though.

eBay - I had a good month on eBay and i sold lots of stuff i didnt have room for, however i am now out of stuff to sell as far as i can tell.

Quidco - At last! They have finally paid out for transactions i made in January and not without a fight, harder than it should be by far and only just worth it.

    Conclusion:

I didn't do slicethepie this month, frankly i needed a break, so i lost some money there. I also finally got tired of surveys but ill pick up again on both next month. However that said i REALLY cant complain at all! Nearly £400 made from nothing or near nothing. It should be remembered though that lots of this money was gained over 5 months and to say it was from just May is misleading as May just happened to be the day they paid out.

I am now £250 from my next target and i have 7 months to get it, i don't want to get ahead of myself, i have some lean months but i am a little more optimistic. Although i have had some real hard hits on my other costs this month and the desire to spend this money is high. Looks like with the huge rises in the cost of living i shall have to tighten my belt another few notches and dig in for the duration.

Srvr, I have just found your thread. It's inspiring!
You're doing rather well too. Congratulations.
I have been on quidco today. You might want to have a look at Betfair. If you sign up and deposit £10, you get £30 on your quidco. I did it and 15min later it had shown as tracked. That's a really easy free £20!
