Hi All
Its month end and cash up time and i would like to call this post::rotfl:A Misleading Start! :rotfl:
Slicethepie £5.00
Slicethepie £5.00
CC Charges Reclaim £102
eBay Junk Sale £95
Monestised Christmas Presents £200
Penny Jar £37This gives a total of £444 for January 2008
Breakdown:
Slicethepie - This is a fun way to make money, you listen and review music, but its not quick, requires effort get anywhere and is really only viable if your really into your tunes and can offer objective review even if you dont like it. It suits me as i love music but a friend who also started at the same time got sickened off quite early.
CC Charges Reclaim - Thank you MSE! :T i followed all the steps on MSE, even used the template letters, asked for the full whack with interest applied which would have been £300 or so and waited for a reply. They made a counter offer of the difference between their charges and the OFT amount, added a little interest to sweeten the deal and got £102. I think they treat me quite well and fairly and the amount they paid was correct. I think i could have got a little more but its hassle vs reward. That said however if they didnt play ball i would have rolled them all the way to Ombudsman. I advise everyone to reclaim their charges, it took less than a month!
eBay Junk Sale - Just that, junk i was going to throw out found a loving home on eBay and all items were like 0.99P plus about £2 postage which means i sold about 100 pieces of junk mainly old FHM magazines and old DVD's.
Monestised Christmas Presents - Exactly that Christmas Presents turned into cash
Penny Jar - I couldn't be bothered to do a full count, ill leave some for next monthand the figure is slightly inflated due to a random extra buried £10 in the sofa from when i moved house two years ago.
I call this a misleading start as i doubt ill keep up this rate in coming months. I do have some money tied up with Quidico, Archerfish, Slicethepie and the penny jar but i dont know long these will take to arrive particularly with Quidico where i have a few tickets in for earning claims that didn't track. Have you noticed with Quidico that its always the bigger amounts that don't track.
I intend to start looking at matched betting loops holes as soon as i am confident enough and i am looking around for other options as well.
So to date i have £444 of my minimum target of £700.

Well done - that's a good start.
Keep it up - Off now to look down sofas!!!!0 -
Well done! I've been doing a similar challenge myself since mid December, don't have a target as such but keeping track to see how much I can make in a year from clicks, surveys, cashback, etc. Current total is £326.54 (actually slightly more as I haven't counted the change jar recently) although I know what you mean about the misleading start as there's some Christmas vouchers etc in there.
Hope it continues to go well for you!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Start matched betting as soon as you can afford to. The earnings rate and total potential of this category of extra income alone could see you reach somewhere between your idealistic and optimistic goal within 3 months (introductory offers) and eventually your unrealistic goal (with reloads and existing member offers) Take another look at the gambling introductory loopholes forum, read the newcomers thread, do some dry runs checking your figures with experienced matched bettors on the forum and then away you go! Once you have done a couple of the easier SR bonuses you'll wonder why you didn't start sooner! Good luck.0

The master plan is to open a separate bank account (which gives cash back on opening and that i can use as a parachute account for bank charge reclaims) and run matched betting through that using the debit card that account offers as paypal is too pricey at times.
The accounts been accepted and i am just waiting to get the papers, after that, ill transfer the money, associate my paypal account with it to move money i have there and start with probably the sun/50 offer from coral and the betfair £25 quidico cash back. That should make me £75 or so. I am however aware that i need a bit of cash upfront to place the two £50 bets to get the SR and also cover the betfair.
I am thinking £200 should be enough on low bet of 1.5 or so what you reckon?£2 Savers Club = £0

I use a couple - mainly lightspeed now though. Don't get many rejections, and have just built up enough points for first £10 voucher, but thats only using it probably once a month for the last 5 or so. If you fit into a more "popular" bracket then its possible to earn much much more. Also, have a look at Pigsback. Its not surveys, but free clicks, and thats earnt me more like £40 since August, only taking up free offers.
I'm not doing half as much as you to save - just change jar and free clicks/surveys, but its adding up slowly!**"Cheer up, it could get worse" - I cheered up, and look, it got worse!**0
