Cheers, yes we have and I don't. It's just as it started off so well the droopiness is frustrating

Have you been watering it?  Is it in a pot or in the ground?  We've had no rain for 7 weeks in South Yorkshire so if where you live is anywhere like that it probably needs watering.

Need a picture - some ornamental pears are SUPPOSED to do that. What variety is it?

What variety is it? What rootstock is it on? How old a plant did you buy ( two or 3 years old?). Have you pruned it at all since it was planted?
Can't tell any of the answers from that picture

Was 2 years old, never been pruned. I was unaware of rootstock having been advised to plant directly into the ground in a space big enough for the rootball. There are a number of very small fruit growing and when scratching a branch it's very green.

A two year old plant needs pruning in the winter following planting. If you don't know the rootstock it could be on a large one or even on it's own roots - where did you buy it? Is it grafted or not? the droop could be due to it growing too strongly for the weight of the fruit (even though fruit is tiny) and so branches are too long and too thin. You should take off all the fruit this year anyway to let the tree establish better

It was supermarket bought., I think it's on its own roots. Could the droop be as something as simple the weight? They are quite long branches, should I prune some of the long dangle ones?
