Hello again.
Well I got back from my meeting at 17.45.... I have been out since 10am
Took ages today and had to travel 1 1/2 hrs each way for this meeting..
Good news was that I only had to travel a short distance into my normal place of work and got a free lift for the rest of the journey. :j
And the other really good thing is that today was a day off for me so I ended up with 7 1/4 hrs overtime too.
Hope you have all had a good day today.0 -

Oh dear, not very good at getting through the list today - must try harder! Love the idea of snapping the dishwasher tablet in half... never would have occurred to me in a month of sundays. That's definitely one for tomorrow's list.splishsplash wrote: »Today I have:- walk to work and shops- don't use car today- NO, I drove... stayed on here too long to walk...:o
- work through one stack of papers and file away when finished - NO, had visitors from after work until now - and I'm just not up to facing paperwork for the evening
- clear half the garden shed of junk accumulated during the year- NO - same reason as above
- [strike]stick to mealplan - chicken curry from leftovers[/strike]-Yes - and have enough to freeze for another dinner too
- [strike]stick to budget and update spending diary [/strike]Yes
I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

Today, we have decided to downsize our mortgage, we have sold our house and were plannng to buy another at the same price, instead we have made an offer and had it accepted on a different house that will knock £50k off our mortgage.
As we're going to just take an interest only mortgage for 3 years (we both have good pensions anyway) this is going to free up an extra £600 a month from March (when we move) so we plan to use these next 3 years to wipe out our debt completely (which stands at approx £34k), hopefully the extra £600 per month we can throw at it will help
so feeling a little more positive now that we will be debt freeTotal unsecured debt July 08 - £46, 311.88
