When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
I will start off.
Today I will.....

Yup, this one is a definite for me today too!
In addition I will be doing my piggy clicks and trying not to pass out when OH rings me to tell me how much the car will cost to repair
I will also be doing a storecupboard meal, and walking up to the post office to pay in a cheque instead of driving to the bank.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Today I will:
- walk to work and shops- don't use car today
- work through one stack of papers and file away when finished
- clear half the garden shed of junk accumulated during the year
- stick to mealplan - chicken curry from leftovers
- stick to budget and update spending diary
I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

I've just done a boots online shop for all the household toiletries, enough to last us the whole year, everything from toothpaste, shampoo, showergel, shaving gel to cotton buds etc.I took advantage of all the 3 for 2's, BOGOF's,half price deals etc and the whole lot came to £45.03. Qualified for free delivery and earned almost 1000 boots points towards my xmas challenge.:j All in all it works out around £4 a month for everything for the whole family, so happy with that:D0

well, I have done one thing today...
It's mainly because I'd like to be around for a looooong time, but also has the added bonus of being very easy on the wallet...
