I'm doing a job for someone at the moment who has just given the builder who left the job a bad review. Checkatrade automatically send out a generic message back to the customer and also inform the trade.pumas said:

When I said I didn't think the guy would use a pic of the work for a promo, he said 'yeah it's got to settle, it's new it's got to settle'1 -
Checkatrade might offer you a refund up to a grand. As long as you have photos, payment details etc. you're in with a chance.2
