Right so far today:I've done the mouse hunt about the house, being watched by the cats who brought it in, in the first place, finally caught it (dust pan and brush) removed it outside.Fed cats, - cuddled catsSorted kitchenSorted binsBeen shoppingBeen to local crab and lobster day, completely lost it, into a fit of giggles, when someone I knew introduced me to someone else (think local bigwig), it was the way it was done, composed myself apologised, and made a fast exit...........Off out walking in a bit, need to put shopping away first. It is still cold BUT the sun is trying to come out better than it was yesterday.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Hi all,
I have been reading the thread considering giving flylady a try to keep on top of things.
Does the list of tasks vary from week to week and are they only listed mon to fri and then you choose your own on the weekend?

Does the list of tasks vary from week to week and are they only listed mon to fri and then you choose your own on the weekend? The lovely Valli and Natty compile the lists each week, alternating, and they are different every day and every week as a result, Mondays to Fridays. The weekends are list free. The lists are the first post oon the first page each week. If you join in it'll make sense but even if you read along you'll pick up all sorts of ideas that'll make life easier and simpler - Flylady is quite hive-minded.Belovéd and I have been tackling the outside space at the back of the house this week and it's slowly, slowly starting to make sense. I did virtually nothing out there last year and it shows, and we had a man in to pressure wash and seal the sundeck a few weeks ago. That meant moving all the pots and it's now time to repot things and put them back, which sounds like a small job but it's massive. Anyway, it's progressing but taking all my time an denergy.Apart from that, the usual laundry, keeping on top things on a daily basis and clearing some of the mountaneous admin backlog means I'm cream crackered most of the time at the moment. BUT there is noticeable progress, and it no longer depresses me to go into my office/ROD, which it kind of did for about 15 years.Better is good enough.7 -
@beadgirl87 I'm a newbie too.Weve been busy outside just taking advantage of the hot dry conditions, I think its the driest May for 61 years in Scotland. Its starting to look better out there. So I'm just tackling level 1 indoors daily and adding anything that needs urgent attention. I vacuumed and put the lounge rug back down, it was aired a few day ago but just doing other things. I manage to FUPA the towel wash which had been sat in a basket on the sofa for a few days. What I have realised since popping in here, is just how many jobs I'm doing!!! The jobs I hate, I remind myself just how much £ I've saved if I'd paid someone else to do it.5

Morning all.
Wordle in five, connections with one life lost, strands with no hints.
Up early as we're going out today for our fortieth anniversary. So probably no flying will be done.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.4
