Transferring house ownership to new spouse

My ex husband and I obtained an online Final Divorce last summer after we split amicably and cooperated in full agreement about all aspects of the divorce and division of assets as we had no children, only a house which we own and had a lifetime mortgage on.
I have since remarried and ex husband and I obtained a Consent order for a clean break settlement.
My new husband and I have repaid the lifetime mortgage in full and now we all agree and wish to transfer the title on the Land Registry, from ex and I, to new husband and I.
At that stage ex husband will be paid an agreed lump sum. All this is clearly set out in the Consent Order.
To achieve this, my new husband and I wish to take out a fresh lifetime mortgage ( in fact to pay my ex and improve the house)
we obviously need a solicitor to handle the processing of the new lifetime mortgage, but can we make the initial transfer of title from ex and I to new husband and , ourselves directly with the Land Registry?
As I managed to achieve the divorce, remarriage and Consent Order admin myself (with only minimal necessary solicitor involvement for filing the papers)I feel confident to handle the admin, as long as it’s acceptable and possible.
Looking for advice and would like to know if anyone else had done similar?
Many ThanksI

it is possible to DIY the land registry forms with the exception of the ID check where you will need to either a) present all of you in person at the LR office or b) pay an approved person to certify the ID 1 form on your behalf

The transfer process is relatively straightforward if the previous transfers have been done correctly. If my fathers case it was all a bit of a nightmare.1

The land transaction return certificate, to show a return has been made, will need to be sent to the Land Registry as part of the application to register the change in ownership.0
