Many settings are remotely available to suppliers.  But if your in a no WAN signal communal meter cabinet / location ....

Old digital meters could be programmed locally - not sure read smart being so - over an ir optical link serial port iirc.

Hopefully just a few photos in an email will get them actively on the case.

Just an update for anyone who may be following this thread or other readers who experience similar issues. Complete inertia from EDF customer services so I have asked for the matter to be escalated and a case number issued.

I think at this stage I have done all I reasonably can to assist supplier with addressing and rectifying the issue. I'll keep a record of the Whatsapp thread which contains most of the dialogue should there be any attempt in the future to issue a retrospective bill for daytime usage being charged at night time rates.

Did you have a chance to confirm if the clock is set accurately on the meter? You can check this by navigating to the INFO menu.
I have an EDMI smart meter that has a clock offset of around 7 hours.
There have been other similar cases with EDMI meters reported in these forums. In your case, it's possible that the installing engineer set the clock incorrectly as AM instead of PM. That may explain the offset of around 12 hours.

    Excellent point.

To date I have not found my way through the meter menu to the clock, but now that @Scot_39 has kindly posted a link to the EDMI 12B user manual, I will navigate to that menu on my next visit. TBH I always have trouble myself with 12.00am or 12.00pm settings in my calendar so it is definitely not beyond the realms of possibility that the clock setting is 12 hours adrift.
