Verdant_Expression said:Theft...... I found an unexpected transaction for that day which surprised no shocked the hell out of me, that transaction, what could only be put down as theft. I do not know if I am allowed to put down the name of the Company so I will just call it gi******-***. THESE People HAVE stolen from my account I am in no doubt so I do not know why I would not be allowed to say its full name but I will err on the safe side here. If a moderator says its okay to say their name I would be more than happy to put it...
... BUT THIS CURRENTLY IS ABOUT THE THEFT FRAUD THAT IS BEING COMMITTED AGAINST ME, ...
Unfortunately you've decided to go completely over the top and blatantly accuse the company on a public forum of fraud and theft.
I doubt the site team will now allow you to name them fo fear of a defamation action.
Plus your post reads longer than War and Peace...
(Top tip: when faced with a situation like this just recite the facts neutrally and avoid potentially defamatory and hyperbolic outbursts)2 -

Certainly a case of overly verdant expression from the OP.0

Grumpy_chap said:Given the charge was made on the one-month anniversary of the first purchase and the value stated, I do wonder whether this is a subscription that was enrolled into as part of the original purchase (to qualify for the discount) or in the subsequent pop-ups. It can be possible to mistakenly sign up for a subscription.
If this is a monthly subscription, the OP needs to see how to cancel, thus avoid incurring a charge next month, and then explore whether there are grounds for the payment taken this month to be recovered.
Without naming the retailer it's hard for anyone else to offer advice. But the OP needs to go back and review their website and any order confirmation to see if they operate a membership/subscription scheme.0 -

I made a reference to War and Peace earlier but having had a quick look at his confusing thread directed at NatWest employees I think a reference to Finnegans Wake would be more appropriate.1 -

Interesting!! On one date you buy something from a company you later come to believe are scamming you. Then a few days later you buy from them again. I have obviously misunderstood somewhere.0
