3 way valves

Hi, I have an IVT  HT+ E7. Last September (2024) I noticed the flow to the UFH was getting hot when the Heatpump was heating the DHW. I opened her up and saw the 'disk' on the 3 way valve just turning slowly. It wasn't stopping at one particular outlet, just kept turning. Not sure if this was a micro-switch problem inside the motor. I fitted a new motor, the valve body is original, was changed a few years ago. 'ALTO Energy' telesales advisor told me the easiest way was to unclip/clip on the new motor to the valve. Now today I've just noticed this one is doing the same thing. Can someone kindly advise me, is it likely a fault in the valve motor or could something else be causing this to happen? Thank You very much. Very informative Forum!

Could see if @beardymarrow is still around and has any insight, he has been very helpful in the ground source thread in the past

It is now 11 years since I replaced the original ESBE parts with LK so unfortunately can't remember whether I could test it out while the 3 way valve was disconnected. If you could do that you'd be able to see if the valve rotates all the time or the LK controller rotates while the valve has little, no, or restricted, movement

Just had a look at the menu options, and under the commissioning settings (going into Service Mode by holding the rightmost button for something like 15 seconds), then setting 5.3 manual operation of all settings) there is then a manual operation of armature
