Hubby received a parking charge for parking on a double yellow line outside a family members property (estate parking patrol by Wing Security). He was using a hire van so I'm concerned to just ignore it as I imagine the NTK will be sent to the hire company and they will most likely just pay it and deduct the amount from the credit card details they hold for him. I want to appeal now but would like some advice on best way to handle. Thanks

Presumably a windscreen pcn   ?

AFAIK  Wing Parking are not members of the BPA or the IPC, in which case they are barred from obtaining keeper details from the DVLA  

In which case  no NTK would go to the hire company,  so check the details above and ignore them if I am correct

It won't because Wing can't get DVLA data.

DO NOT APPEAL.  Say nothing.

Afternoon all, hope you're keeping as cool as possible in the heat.

ZZPS have been applying their own kind of heat and pressure whilst people are trying to keep cool and orderly. Letters as pre the newbie guide have been ignored, so the driver/registered owner who ZZPS unfortunately got their details when they asked me to help them appeal to Wing Security (rookie move) but was rejected nothing else done and everything was ignored whilst looking for help online and then I found all this helpful information for them too late.

Owner trusts me to follow the forums newbie guide around PCNs but I don't know much and they're worried about the letters talking court action, ruined credit and solicitors talk. I'll add redacted copies in case others forum users in future also want to know if the guide info is in date.

I'd hate to lead owner wrong, right track to ignore and wait for Wing to write to owner to take to court? Also if ZZPS get their solicitors involved should owner be ignoring those too?
