But your defence was submitted months ago. You are not resubmitting the defence; you are now at 'WS and evidence' stage which is covered in post 2 of the NEWBIES thread.James90210 said:I had my papers come through & I have until December 16th to submit my defence. Now I’m nervous!!PRIVATE 'PCN'? Can you show us the letter? There should be a hearing fee date too.
More and more VCS cases are following the DCB Legal discontinuation route nowadays.2 -

How is this for my witness statement?? Many thanks in advance. On the day in question there was no signage at the entrance to the carpark informing drivers that it was a controlled parking zone (see photograph ##).There had apparently been a warning/information sign once you entered the carpark at some point, but this had been destroyed or removed previously (see photograph ##).There was further evidence of destroyed/damaged signs (see photograph ##).There were no signs along the entire rear of the carpark adjacent to the tree line where the vehicle was parked. The carpark backs directly onto the Three Tuns public house, with a large, well signposted rear entrance and outdoor seating area (see photograph ##).There was no signage on the way to the pub, or on/in the entrance itself informing drivers that it was a controlled parking zone, and was not to be used by patrons. The front of The Three Tuns opens directly onto the High Street, with double yellow lines. Given this, the direct access to the pub, the outdoor seating area and lack of signage advising otherwise, I believe it was totally reasonable to conclude that the carparking area directly to the rear of the premises was for use by patrons.0

It doesn't look like the recommended WS and exhibits in the 2nd post of the NEWBIES thread.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I’ve still not received the witness statement from DBC legal yet - I was hoping to counter the points as mentioned in the guide. Is it common that they would wait until the last minute to send it??
im going to check over the newbie guide this evening when I'm home and get my own typed up properly ahead of the Tuesday deadline.0
