wrong way in a one way.... but no signs FACING me?

Options
ok so i went the right way down a one way street. Parked my car. Several hours later I return. I see no signs around me. I do a 3 point turn and exit the street. I get fined for going the wrong way. I genuinely hadn't realised, and I think from the start of that return journey there was nothing to tell me otherwise.

The evidence they give me is just two pics of me exiting the street. Nothing of me entering the road. In those pics the blue one way arrow signs are clearly facing outwards, and not facing me.
1. Is this the only evidence they will rely on in the appeal? Or can they spring more evidence on me? The first pic below is the evidence they've given me, and on that evidence there are no signs facing me
2. When I've gone back and looked at the route on google maps I can see just one sign that is possible for me to see in the direction i was going. not facing me, but facing into the street sideways (on the left on the 2nd pic). Could they spring that on me as evidence? Is that evidence enough?

Presumably a council matter   ?  If yes,  follow the advice given in reply in the following thread

My argument (and the truth of the matter) is that from when I began my return journey, inside the road, there were no signs facing me that indicated I was on a one way street.

I did not turn into a one way straight past no entry signs for example.

When you entered there are two blue/white arrows, big clue.

You've driven over the painted 20 and arrow along with SLOW that faces the other way on the way out.

Slam dunk as far as I can see.

Your first picture clearly shows two blue arrow signs as you entered the street.

Assuming you entered via this route then bang to rights

When you turned into the street you drove past the one way blue arrows they were facing you when you drove into the road

Did you not see the road markings (slow - arrows and 20mph big circle) as you drove down the road which are all facing the way of the one way?

Likewise you acknowledge that the street does have arrows showing the direction of travel as evidenced in your photo.

Whilst it may be a genuine mistake in that you forgot you parked on a one way street I'm not sure how that's the councils fault. They aren't going to put signs next to every parking bay

Ignoring the two one way instruction signs when you entered the road initially.

The obvious signage painted on the road didn't give clues once you had made the three point turn?

You didn't notice all the cars facing the same direction?

Terrible driving - sorry. How could you appeal with such obvious evidence? Photo one couldn't be clearer.
