ATM mini statements

Nationwide have some branch ATMs but I haven't seen a non-branch Nationwide ATM in years.TimeLord1 said:Nationwide issue mini statements.
The Royal Bank is probably her safest bet as they have a decent amount of ATMs (branches & remote) plus they provide ATMs for Tesco supermarkets. She can also use sister bank NatWest ATMs should she encounter those outside Scotland.

This is the choice she has really. Is there any reason that she can't get a tablet and install the Virgin money app on it?molerat said:VM mini statements are only available from VM ATMs so it is either move banks or modernise her banking methods. I wouldn't put any stock in Natwest running Tesco Bank ATMs longer term.[Deleted User] said:molerat said:VM mini statements are only available from VM ATMs so it is either move banks or modernise her banking methods. It is the last such arrangement out there - previously Barclays ran ASDA machines, HSBC ran M&S and Waitrose machines and Sainsbury's Bank ran their machines with help from HBOS/LBG.
The Natwest machines are a relic of the time when Tesco Personal Finance used to be a JV between Tesco and RBS. They are now part of a rump of stuff after the rest of the bank was sold to Barclays.
I'd expect NoteMachine or some other low cost provider will swoop in and take over at some point.0 -
Would agree with the above. Local Morrisons has 3 atm, used to be from various banks. Now all 3 are NoteMachine.Life in the slow lane0

The multibank arrangement was legacy of not all English banks being on LINK. Tesco adopted RBS machines back in day due to RBS having agreements with all UK banks at the time.born_again said:Would agree with the above. Local Morrisons has 3 atm, used to be from various banks. Contracts can change but the contract was financially beneficial to Tesco group and allows RBS/Natwest to place jointly branded ATMs in the UKs largest supermarket.0
