Why not just use the suggested para 3 already linked in the Template?
I've been a bit of a melon and either misplaced or binned the original forms after adding it to my MCOL account, so I can't even see my PoC any more. Would this section with just the date I've amended to the correct date be sufficient?

Also, you are entirely correct and I've edited my title - it's DCBL in this case, not DCB Legal.

    No it isn't.

Have you actually had a Claim Form? It cannot have been from DCBL.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Here's one of the last letters before getting my claim form and yeah I have gotten a claim form with the claim number and password - it's on my MCOL already

Yes but that's 6 months ago. The letter after that and the claim came from DCB Legal.

Ah I see, I assume theres no way for me to check my claim form online through MCOL, so my question now would be regarding my paragraph 3 - is this the correct template to be using without requiring any editing apart from the date?

As I don't have my claim form I am unsure if the section regarding "No PCN was issued on xx/xx/202x" is relevant. Unless perhaps they just use a cookie cutter template and have it in pretty much all their claim forms?

Why not just use the suggested para 3 already linked in the Template?

Referring to the POC: paragraph 1 is denied. The Defendant is not indebted to the Claimant. Paragraph 2 is denied. No PCN was "issued on xx/xx/202x" (the date of the alleged visit).  Whilst the Defendant is the registered keeper, paragraphs 3 and 4 are denied. The Defendant is not liable and has seen no evidence of a breach of prominent terms.  The quantum is hugely exaggerated (no PCN can be £170 on private land) and there were no damages incurred whatsoever. The Claimant is put to strict proof of all of their allegations.

I bet that DCB Legal mentioned Contravention,  not Issued,  so remove that section that says No PCN ...... visit)

They changed the wording around the time the claim form was issued,  so you will have to assume that yours is the latest example

I even linked an example for you to study back on page 1, a cookie cutter example,  here's another one of many

ECP Issued the claim form but via DCB Legal   ( not DCBL  ), so please change your thread title to something more suitable like

My apologies, I've now completed and submitted my defence with the appropriate information!

Thank you so much all, I'm very grateful for all your help so far. Let's see how it goes now and when I get a reply back from either of my outstanding cases (facepalm)
