SIP Court claim - Insufficient fee paid Derby 2025

I gave the helpline a call, the enquiries address is the correct one. They don’t have access to the system to confirm, but it should be processed.1

Just returned from the court. SIP didn’t send anyone.
It was over in less than 5 minutes, the judge explained that he was throwing out the claim as it wasn’t clear on the ownership of the land and whether they had the right to administer a claim (SIP car parks had a contract with SIP Parking to manage the car parking), and that meant we didn’t even get onto any of the evidence.
The judge awarded me £95 costs for a half day off work + travel costs.7 -

I cannot see that you included any reference in your draft defence or WS to the two different entities of SIP Car Parks and SIP Parking and whether either had a contract with the landowner. How did the judge pick up on that.6

It’s not something I had picked up on myself (or known to look for it).Not_A_Hope said:the judge explained that he was throwing out the claim as it wasn’t clear on the ownership of the land and whether they had the right to administer a claim (SIP car parks had a contract with SIP Parking to manage the car parking)That is interesting. Maybe the judge has dealt with several SIP cases before and knows what to look for.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
