O2 payg text anytime question

Hi all.

I'm sorry I'm such a thicko but I want to check this with you. As I mentioned on another thread I am looking for a good payg deal for my talkative 16 year old!

I have been given a free O2 sim on text anytime.

It says top up £10 per month and get 300 texts top up £15 and get 500 texts. So does that mean that the top up money can be spent on voice calls? Also can he use it with the O2 numbers to get 1000 texts or minutes?

It is looking like a reasonable option if he can use it together. Also he can give an o2 sim to the girlfriend as I have a spare. Is this right or have I got it all wrong? Brain is not functioning too well!

thats right. i top mine up £10 and get 300 txts and still have my £10 credit. I then chose the o2 numbers which gives you 1000 mins/txts for £5 which is deducted from the £10.
So i get 300 txts and 1000 mins/txt and still have £5 credit in my phone all from £10. its a great deal. theres 6 of us in my house who all have this deal and none of us have any complaints

Thank for confirming that smartypantz it does look like a good deal for my son.
I can't imagine what he finds to talk about. We have just confistcated his O2 contract phone as he used up his talk minutes 750 mins and went over. !!!! YIKES
Paying for it himself on PAYG might button his lip a bit.

He will now only be allowed to have a girlfriend that is on O2.:rotfl:
