Two loads swished and pegged out in the glorious sunshine and fresh breeze. Windows open upstairs.

Today is a pottering about ✔️PUPA, ✔️FUPA, ✔️WUDUPA-dee doo kind of day.  Along with a ✔️clean tablecloth and ❌️dust & ❌️vacuum whole house.

Instead of dusting & vacuuming, I've spent time on phone calls .......  arranging our registration of Civil Partnership!!!  After over 40 years 😱

A far nicer way to spend the day!  Congratulations!!!

I have sat on trains, lunched with my friend and her daughter, walked Rosie, and helped another friend to order copies of his birth certificate for ID purposes.   DH will be starving so I must make a risotto now - though I'm still quite full from lunch.

Didn’t make it onto the thread yesterday, S&S kitchen.  Appear to have a leak from bathroom sink..grr. bucket under light in dining room.  light out of use.  Still I can be glad it’s not impacted either of my newly-decorated areas (Pollyanna mode).

Did clean bathroom.  Will call plumber tomorrow when i have spoken to decorator who just has finishing off to do as need them not to be in each other’s way.

Neice called (experienced and trained carer) who thinks mum might not have long.  spoke to DD (trained dietitian) who says could be weeks even if she’s not eating.  To be honest I don’t feel stressed, she’s in the best place and being cared for and at least we are no longer paying for ‘extras’.

I'm up, made my bed, got dressed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, washed towels and tea towels,  pegged out towels and tea towels, fed the birds, refilled the bird bath, put out the recycling,  supped two brews, eaten breakfast, completed Strands with no hints,  completed Wordle in five, completed Connections with three lives lost,  completed Letter Boxed in four, and I'm supping a coffee.

Another glorious drying day...if a little twot for Rounds 🥵. Mr and Mrs Bluetit are busy feeding their young uns.

Morning all,
I have been a busy flylady this morning. I know, it makes a change and all that…
WUDUPA after having friends round last night. 1 load of washing done and on the line. Downstairs has been cleaned through. Did the stairs whilst I was in the groove. DH has just fixed up 2 more water butts, so I am going to take a turn around the back garden in a rain dance sort of way. No rain since early March, and it is showing. When I have finished strutting my stuff, I will squash the contents of the green bin and get some more in there befire the Tuesday collection. Meal planning for the week is also on today’s to do list.
