Utilising the annual ISA allowance - query

Could my wife and I transfer £20k of "unwrapped" savings funds currently in my name into an ISA solely in my wife's name and in so doing use up my wife's annual allowance?

    Possibly not no.

    A transfer to her then into an ISA should be possible.

    But don't forget it's then her money to spend as she sees fit.
