Probably best to close them and just transfer into one account, because they will ask about them if you have £6000+ in savings if your under that generally they'll add it together as capital. He wasn't that lazy to open the fifteen accounts 😟
Thank you,Trust me he is,  He opened the accounts online but has to go into  branch to close them or telephone them hence the laziness .lol .There is about £ 45.00 in total  so well under £6000.
Was he hopeful that they would all be taken over in time. 🤔 He will need photo ID to probably close them all.

They are a mix of both some are saving pots with in an account some where opened when we had a credit card with them so had current account as well most are dormant haven't  been used in years theres not much in them i think the most one has £2.87 hence why he not bothered to shut them . im just wondering what to to do for the best best get them shut but print of past few months statements so they can see there nothing much in them or submit the lot causing more hassle then needed . i should say he is disabled both physical and has memory issues awaiting further investigations .

My Husband is a man of Tomorrow and Tomorrow never comes , for various reason ,branch shutting in our area , overdraft charges being interduced  interest rates offer ended etc he just decides to stop using that account and open another with a better deal but rather than most people shutting old accounts he just leaves them with a pound or two in them .

With the current accounts, the easiest way I find of closing them is just to use the Switch service to the main account. As long as the right option is selected this closed the old account.
