 Wow. I have just had an extortionate (imo) bill from Orange. Seems they have me over a barrel! But speaking to them, they have pointed out, that had I have read the T&C I would have been aware of this! ....
I went over my monthly allowance first time in 6 months .... their voice system was 'down' so I couldn't hear my entitlement to calls. - they pointed out it was available online....
Also they charge almost 1 penny per delivery report.....
and also charge for voice messages, which I found impossible to 'turn off' manually.
When I asked how I could cancel my contract, I was told I could 'buy out' at a cost of approx £400!
Any comments ?

sounds like they are right and are abiding by their terms and conditions0

I generally happy with Orange (being with every other provider) ... but I do agree, their system is regulalry "down", unable to check balances via 150, best to use the on-line system.
I was also "stung" by the 1p delivery charge - when I first signed up, they tried to tell me that it was featured on the cpw warehouse (at the time I purchased the phone), I received a credit back when I pointed out there was no notification on the site at the time of purchase!

Orange started charging apirl 2006. If the systerm is down try get through to someone in billing and their tell you your allowance!0
