Talk Home verification emails not arriving

I tried signing up with Talk Home recently, the email verification email never arrived.

Turns out it's due to an email DNS configuration error on their end, so my email system was rightly rejecting the emails: https://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?action=spf:talk-home.com:84.233.252.195

If you are having trouble getting emails from them, then this is most likely why.

It's very annoying when large companies don't know how to correctly setup their email services correctly.

My ex-wife worked for a very large company and we could never receive emails about vacancies from them.    I tracked this down to being rejected by my email server.   I wrote an email for my ex-wife to send to detail exactly why it wasn't working and what they needed to do to fix it.

They just replied telling her to look in her spam folder and some vague advice how to stop emails going into the spam folder.     To this day, that particular email server is still incorrectly configured.

I completely agree, and Talk Home is a communications company of all things. I took it as a sign and decided against signing up with them in the end.
