Data only sim - Spain?

What would be the best option for someone spending 3 weeks in Spain who wants a data only sim for their Samsung tablet pls?
They don't want to hot-spot from their mobile 'phone.
Get a one month roaming one in UK before they go, or hope to be able to pick one up locally at destination?🤔

Check Lebara, for a tenner you get around 30GB data for roaming valid for a month, which i think is a good deal.1

I use aloSIM for data eSIMs as they have great prices and great customer service.
Only have eSIMSs though, so your device would need that ability.
They also have many large discounts available too.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.

Just beware there are other people on this forum who have complained about using Lebara abroad. Specifically, they have a fair usage limit which is based on your previous usage.
It may be safer to go with someone else. 1p Mobile are currently offering £8 for 10GB or £10 for 25GB.

I've used Lebara before in Spain with no issues, but you can get a better deal than 30GB for £10 mentioned above. Have a look at the link below where you can get 50GB for £1.15 a month, cancel any time. Note the 50GB UK usage is restricted to 30GB when using in Spain (and other countries), and 35GB for £1 a month etc

Earlier this afternoon he ordered the 30GB for £10 deal online unfortunately and they are sending Sim card out to him. He has been back on after your post to try to cancel it but tho he can sign into the account he had to set up, he can't get past first screen as it asks for the phone number which he obviously doesn't have yet.
£10 isn't the end of the world, but your deal was much more MSE! Tnx for posting.0 -

Thanks for the possible heads up tho.0 -
Setup a new email address with google etc and get the cheaper SIM card, but may be too late if the £10 has been charged for the first month.Although in this instances its for a tablet, if a device has two SIM card slots like my phone I keep my main PAYG O2 SIM in one slot so I keep the same phone number, then use the other SIM card slot for the Lebara SIM for outbound calls and data, the just keep getting a new Lebara SIM when the current deal expires (and turn off auto renew at the last month). Saves the hassle of porting numbers in and out to keep the good deals on the data and "free" calls.1

Will certainly keep your post in mind for future ref tho, both in terms of checking any MSE offers and re what you say about dual sims. Tnx again.0
