Where / how do I word the facts?
Despite the date being over five years ago, I recall tl to the best of my knowledge, I was there as a visitor of a resident and displayed a visitors permit visible in the front windscreen. There were no clear bay markings, only cobbled paving. It was late in the evening in January so was poorly lit also. Signage and parking bays were not obvious or well lit.0 -
So that's what you should have added!
How does the judge know that if you don't include it in your defence? Not that you'll actually have a hearing because DCB Legal will discontinue just before.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Correct, or offer £5 , then £10 etc, but no big offers, or offer nothing, see them in court ( but they will more likely discontinue next year )januarykitten2020 said:Followed all the advise thus far.Have my meditation call tomorrow.Just listen and if £0 ?Thanks3 -

Yep or a fiver. You don't have to explain your defence. They are not a judge. DO NOT BE PRESSURED BY THE MEDIATOR.januarykitten2020 said:Followed all the advise thus far.Have my meditation call tomorrow.Just listen and if £0 ?Thanks

            Hi
I had mediation, offered 0, they came down to 180.
Received a letter today that the claimant must file legal fees by next week, and court date is set for end of November.
Do I just wait. Do DCB file the legal fees typically?
Do I need to submit evidence to the court and start to get it all gathered up?
What has been the typical pattern for previous people - what point do you get notice of dicsontinuation?
Many Thanks for your help so far0 -
Have you received a Notice of Allocation and was there a date for the hearing? On that NoA, there should be a date by which you should submit your Witness Statement and evidence. Not sure what you mean by "file legal fees"; do you mean pay the hearing fee?2

DCB LEGAL tend to NOT PAY the hearing fee, unless their client wants it paid, most dont want to pay, some like VCS and EXCEL do want it to go to the hearing, so do pay , regardless
Your court order should tell you the deadline for all parties involved to exchange and submit their Witness Statement plus Exhibits bundle, so study that court order carefully, because it will be on there, typically 2 weeks or more before the hearing date
Study the 675 or so discontinuations in the discontinuations thread by Umkomaas and you will see the typical pattern
If yours arrives, it will be an N279 discontinuation document in your inbox or spam folder in your email account from DCB Legal, so check both regularly , usually just before the hearing fee is due, so that date tends to be make or break for them, depending on how many pcns are claimed in the POC
G24 tend to be discontinued just before the hearing date, via DCB Legal
This imminent date is not normal these days, so not so soon after mediation, due to the backlog in the justice system, so which court is it ?
Please edit your thread title to something more suitable, delete the initials CCJ and replace it with G242 -
            Thanks for you prompt reply
Had mediation on 12th Sept
Fee deadline 23rd October
Hearing 20th Nov (evidence 14 days prior- will double check the letter)
Manchester Court
It’s DCB and G24. So I will have to submit evidence and they push to the final hours? Will have to read the threads again for what to submit.I am working that day, don’t really want to tell my employer and also it’s a job where getting cover is not the easiest.1
