Chip transfer out with zero contribution in current tax year

I have recently been trying to transfer out my Cash ISA from Chip to a fixed term account with Saffron. Being fully aware that I have to do a full transfer from Chip, and having only contributed in previous tax years (nothing in 2025/26), I only ticked the box on the ISA transfer form to do a full transfer of my previous tax year contributions. Following Chip rejecting this and a variety of back and forth conversations with both providers, Chip has told me that they rejected it as I didn’t tick the box requesting a full transfer of the current year’s contributions and inputting an approximate amount of zero.
As such, I now have to resubmit the ISA transfer form. This is not a huge deal, but can someone confirm if Chip are correct at asking for this in order to do a “full” transfer, despite me not having contributed this year? I am contemplating a formal complaint as this does seem ridiculous but might be necessary within the complications of ISA transfers.

I'm getting a bit p'd off with trying to transfer from Chip to Barclays.
First rejection was due to my middle name not being on my Chip account and my address didn't match 100% as Barclays still have an old county on their system.
Just been told rejected for a second time as the account is not transferable due to funds being paid in. Waiting to hear back from Chip but I'm wondering if yesterday's interest payment being added is the issue.
Unfortunately I can't resubmit as I'm due £300 cashback from Barclays which I'll no longer qualify for as the deadline for application was last week.
