    secured loan 15k paying that off at £220 per month *that will finish in three years*
    juggling options and lifestyle to make up the funding gap.

    Have you had a look at the Debt-free wannabe board. There are loads of ideas there for cutting down, it might be worth posting a statement of affairs so the people over there can offer their wisdom.

    it is advised to pay off your unsecured debts before your secured ones rabbidog i would recommend the debt free board that lot are amazing ..likewise us (alot of us came from there lol)

    well just got hubby's wage slip in i was right it wasnt as good as last months but it was better than i thought so i will be putting some more to the payment this month ..i think i am due some ot money this month as well

    although i havnt been on here much recently i havnt forgot i am doing the £4000 a year challenge on the df board trying to save all the extra bits for the mortgage so i'm coming at it from as many angles as i can lol ..

    do you know i just found the reciept the other day i thought i had lost them ...have been ill (food allergy i think) and working since but come wed or thursday i think i will try ...gonna be so embarrassed what excuse am i gonna give for taking them back?

    Wrong shade of gold, didn't look right with your curtains/mantlepiece/tablecloth etc...

  • I always just say that someone bought them as a duplicate present for me so gave me the receipt to return them.

    all this talk about candles made me go and look them up....they do look really noce but i managed to resist! unfortunalely i couldnt resist buying a new drive way for £1400!!! but it's an investment i suppose and the garden looks lovely:j only adds to the value
    I am now debt free! Whoop whoop! :money::beer:
  • Another tenner :) Decided to put any money from Amazon into the mortgage ( I have some books and records on there), as it's all 'extra' money to me anyway, rather than something I can count on coming in.
    Ali - still pretty much a newbie, need to brush up my MS habits!
