AJ Bell, owns Dodl, which was only launched as a lower cost alternative a couple of years ago.
The most obvious difference is that the DODL platform fee is only 0.15% as opposed to 0.25% with the main AJ bell site. Dodl has a smaller choice of investments and is app only.

Also Dodl doesn't charge when you trade whereas AJ Bell does.

T212, no commission charge, no platform charge, ofcourse you pay on the spread when buying/selling but not much

No funds but ETFs and all Shares UK/US/Europe

Interface is spot on both app and windows

Thanks for all the help! I signed up to AJ Bell DODL and made the investment into the fund I wanted. It was all super easy once I knew where to look. Made my first (small) investment!
