New 1.80% bonus for existing Chase customers

I received an email today from Chase offering an uplift of 1.80% on top of its normal easy access savings rate of 3.00% for 6 months, bringing the rate yo 4.80% (variable) for six months.
As far as I can see this catapults Chase to the top of the best buy tables for an easy access, unlimited withdrawal account. I have moved my savings over from the Coventry.
This was sent to me as an existing Chase customer, but I had to open a new account to benefit from the rate (i.e., I could not apply the bonus to an existing account).
Probably worth checking your emails and/or app notifications if you're an existing Chase customer and earning less than this elsewhere.
