I'd grab it quick after my experience today!

Partner had the offer so got it. I had no such offer, so live chatted with Chase to find out why, as our situations are the same; both have same number of accounts with them for the same amount of time, both had boosted accounts before that have since expired. Only difference between us both is I have a fair bit saved with them, and partner doesn't. So I assumed that to be the reason, so I asked them.

At first they tried to say it was because I had a boosted account previously (now expired), until I informed them my partner also has (also expired).  They then backtracked and were not very forthcoming about their eligibility criteria, and were unable to provide any reason why I had not received the offer, simply apologising and stating hopefully I'll be eligible in the future.

So seemingly, there is no consistency as to who is eligible for this one  :/
Interesting. Wonder if they are only offering to customers who emptied or left very little in their accounts? I am one of the latter and got the boost, and moved money back in.
The last boosted account they offered, excluded those with over 50k in savings, on a certain date IIRC.

Chase are advertising 4.75% boosted (SVR +1.75) rate on savings rate comparison websites for 6 months…indeed a nice gesture to lure those swaying customers back with +0.05% extra especially after the recent cash back trimming announcement restricting to just 3 merchant categories!!

Thanks for this - my daughter and I just checked our apps and we both got the boosted rate.

Likely this will be down to 4.55% by 15th May, but should still be worthwhile.

Got this as well having cleared out my accounts to zero as of 7th April as cashback no longer worth it for me. Previously had kept a few hundred in the (frankly disappointing) savings account at 3% so I could move it easily to spend if I needed to do so in the supermarket cue quickly.

My wife didn't get offer and she has minimal but non-zero balances, but did get the credit card offer (which I didn't). Feels like a bit of A-B testing, offer it to some people and see who takes it up. Maybe they extend criteria if they don't get much take up.

Had the same email. Looks like it’s 6 months from opening, so will wait until I am paid and putting money aside for June to open one.

@Kim_13 it might no longer be available in June

I excitedly sent my daughter a message to make sure she takes advantage of this.  But seems she doesn’t have the offer.

I've got a fair amount with Chase in stoozing and haven't got the offer. I only seemed to get the previous boost offer after emptying my savings so I think it's targeted to tempt people back.

Possibly. I had next to nothing in Chase and got the offer
