Or was that figure worong - or only longer term debt concerns.0

Works fine for me. I don't have a smart meter so I manually enter my meter readings just as i've done for years with various energy suppliers. I set a calendar reminder on my mobile for the last day of every month. The readings show in the portal and the energy used gets correctly billed, at just under 21p per KWH - far cheaper than any other supplier for a standard single rate. "Watts" not to like?"Dont expect anybody else to support you, maybe you have a trust fund, maybe you have a wealthy spouse, but you never know when each one, might run out" - Mary Schmich0

Ah - I assumed the £3m was on the Tomato - customer side. But if Elexon driving the intervention from the grid settlement side - sounds like they have been a little bit naughty on paying suppliers.(But then if they get paid late by their customers perhaps they are not unrelated)0

I joined in February, and so far so good. I saw data in MyWatts literally on the evening of my go-live day. I'm not sure if it made any difference but I supplied both the MPAN and the serial number of the electric meter while signing up. There was a problem with collection of the first direct debit (they didn't take the money when they should have). I informed them and they apologised and corrected. The data from MyWatts seems to be accurate - in as much as the costs per hour changing at the right time. I have 2 electric cars and kids that seem to change clothes every 10 minutes, so we make good use of the cheaper rates.1

For me, reading a lot of opinion on the chances of them going bust, it's important to get the bill on time, be accurate, and that I pay it promptly. In my mind this means that if they do go bust and we get transferred to another provider at least I've minimised any outstanding KW that could be charged at the new supplier rate. So, I'll enjoy my savings as long as I can...0
