I'm posting this from my trusty Samsung SM-T515 which I bought as a refurb from ebay during lockdown for £50. I still use it as a travel tablet and I can confirm that it works like a 10" inch smartphone, calls, texts and 4G work just as with a phone. I am looking to replace this with a refurb Sammy X215/6 one of these days. Wife has a much faster dual-sim BlackView 10" tablet which brand-new was £60 and also supports all normal phone functions.1

I have ordered a Doogee T36 with cover, keyboard and pen and am now concerned that I have rushed into it without checking the charging details - is it a "fast charge" device ?User reports don't mention charge time - they do mention that one purchaser is unhappy because his tablet only charges at 1 amp !! Another that a continental mains adapter was suppliedI do have a fast charger and fast charging USB C lead - so fingers crossed....0

From what I have found it supports 10W charging, so that's 2 amps and 4 hours or so to charge from 20%.1

The Samsung Galaxy Tabs all can do SMS and calling, however you need a SIM card that supports voice and SMS services. Some data-only SIMs may not support these features. And while the tablets support SMS and calls, it's essential to verify that your mobile carrier allows these services on tablet devices.0

I've got the new Doogee tablet and I am very pleased with it so far
It's well built (.a little heavy but so what?)
The speed is incredible
I have set it up with 20Gb RAM and it boots up.instantaneously
The screen is absolutely STUNNING
I'm currently transferring all my data from my old tablet2 -
