Morning everyone and thank you for starting us off Gers (you're an early bird like me Gers).14

Good morning, thanks for starting Gers.
It's sunny here, but chilly but I'm sure it'll warm up.
I'm going to get outside this morning and continue the tidying and potting on started yesterday.
Snoozer, I'm sorry to see that the family are so inconsiderate regarding clearing up after themselves - they're going to get an awful shock when they move into their own place and they realise that mess doesn't clear itself.
Hope you are fully recovered from your migraine Camelot.
TA I had non cataract eye surgery in February, and the surgeon said he would remove any cataract while he was there so to speak. I never felt a thing, just had to lie still for an hour or so. My eye did look pretty gruesome for few days but it healed.
Hope your knee is not so painful Dp1
Glad your back is getting better Gers.
Mehefin you've been busy with gardening and plants, it's that time of year isn't it.
Nanny, hope your and yours are ok, it's good to see you posting.
Izzy, that was a great bargain you got at the cs - recently I bought a very smart
lightweight jacket, looked brand new, reduced from £13 to £6.50! I've had some great stuff from charity shops. Also a fine knit wool/silk long line cardigan from a brand that I couldn't afford new.
Anyway I'll stop burbling on and give someone else a chance!
Thinking of the sad and poorly.Take care folks.

Morning allApparently we're expecting highs of 19 with lots of sun today. Whoopeeeeeee. Mind you it's really misty out there at the moment so hopefully the sun will burn it off soon and my bedding will dry on the line quite quickly, once I've put it out that is!Shopping delivery due in an hour or so, no subs so that's good. Pasta and meatballs for dinner.Apart from that nothing exciting here.Have a good day all13

Morning folks and thanks GERS. Whoop whoop first day of the mini heatwave, the sun has his hat on and I've had to close the side blind again as I couldn't see what I was typing!
Shopping with DS today, probably this morning. I had a small list but that's now got longer as I have decided to have a week or so at the caravan later this week, maybe Thursday. So I need to stock up on stuff to take with me.
Thanks all for all the encouragement re my cataracts. The referral went Friday so there's no going back now! I'm a wuss when it comes to eyes but I know if I don't have it done I'll soon be bumbling around like dear old Eli in Last of the Summer Wine.
My bit of potting on didn't happen yesterday (I got engrossed in snooker) so that's earmarked for his afternoon. Once we get warm sunshine it's tempting to dash off for some summer bedding but I'm holding fire on that for a week or two. Knowing our changeable weather it could be snowing after our mini heatwave!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Take care all, stay safe xx

It's certainly less chilly than yesterday, rain is forecast for later on.
Yesterday I did small faffy things which had been queuing up to be tackled. Rubbish was taken away along with a wee bag of assorted batteries. When ex was here last weekend he changed a few from remote controls and cleaned out the compartments as most had leaked and crudded up. That, along with the many hearing aid batteries made it worth taking away. The new aids plough through juice as they connect to the mobile properly.Last night I wanted to watch some programmes through the Plex app on the Apple TV box, it blooming wouldn't work and, by time I sorted it I'd had enough messing about and watched Judge Judy instead.Today is for Criminal:UK which looks interesting. Of course, l was riveted by my beloved Dr Who. Some things never change.
As for today - who knows. I have great intentions to get out for a walk but I'm rubbish at intentions.@SuffolkSue - it's always good to have the pre-op stuff out of the way.@TA - we'll miss you.@WeeNancy - you mentioned scrub trousers the other day - we have a number of companies which supplies them online. It's an interesting idea.Take care everyone - hugs to all.

Good morning
Thank you for the start @Gers
Misty out at the moment but I'm sure it will brighten up soon.
Plants to go into the garden so need to get that sorted. I'm not going to grow much this year as I find the watering them is becoming hard work.
Take careIf you walk at night no-one will see you cry.12 -

Sunny and bright here
Yesterday I drive up to N Cheshire to collect my new campervan - so please let me introduce Thistle.Today will consist of putting everything in /deciding where to store things - that’ll likely be changed numerous times! Have a lawn to mow and some plants to get in the ground too!
Hope everyone has a good day

Morning all, thanks Gers. It's lovely and sunny here atm.Shortly off to pick up DS & DGS to drive to Cumbria so the lad can play another football match ! , not his usual team. Taking a few supplies although it looks like they have a club house so coffee may be available
One of the parents yesterday was talking about a Chinese restaurant that does take aways so we gave it a try last night, and it was very good, makes a change from our usual Indian, although DH had to go and pick it up.
Hello to Thistle Allie - hope you have some good adventures in her!Right better get sorted, Happy Sunday to all.:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)13
