Surprise VM great renewal offer

Pleasant surprise today, I logged onto myvirginmedia and it randomly offered me a great deal. It said I was out of contract (pretty sure I have 6 months to go but hey) and I could renew 125mb for £14.50 per month ( down from c. £21 ). Contract has been accepted.

In case it helps anyone may be worth checking myvirginmedia for yourself.

£14.50 for 125Mbps is a genuinely great deal, nice one.

I was out of contract (but still had a hefty discount for a couple of months after the contract ended). Previously my online renewal offer had been a cheap 6 months followed by a full price 12 months for an 18 month contract. Obviously not remotely tempting. Today I got 18 months of M350, Wifi Max and a pod (plus phone and TV box, both of which we hardly use) for under £20. It goes up to £23 in April 2026, but it's still far cheaper than our original sign-up deal and much better than anything I'd hoped to haggle for over the phone. Result!
