ISA investment and Financial year

Can anyone answer the question for me please? I opened a new ISA in March 2025. I invested the maximum amount of £20,000. My question is can I open a new ISA because we are now in the new Financial tax year April-March or will I need to wait until 2026 to purchase another ISA?

The £20,000 limit is from April 6th to April 5th the year after therefore if you put in £20,000 in March you can put another £20,000 into a cash ISA for the year between April 6th 2025 to April 5th 2026.

These are actually two different periods, staggered by a week.
