ID Mobile line no longer working reliably

I have en eSim with ID Mobile which used to work normally. For the last few months (I think since the 3G switch off but I didn't notice for a while) I am no longer able to reliably make or receive calls from home. Works normally elsewhere and can text at home. I have gone through ID's post 3G switch off reset 4 or 5 times and each time it starts working normally again for a couple of hours but then drops out. My house is in a good 4G coverage area and my other line (Lebara) works normally.

As this started happening after the cool off period ID want to charge me a termination fee to leave early (contract due to end in October) which feels like it should be a breach of some kind of failure to provide service legislation!

Can anyone suggest either a way to get my phone working normally again, or an argument to get them to drop the termination fee? Thanks

Can't you use WIFI calling at home?  I believe ID mobile supports wifi calling but it would depend on your handset

It's set up but doesn't help...

I'm racking my brains because if it works some of the time it should work all the time but I don't want to have to reset the phone every time I want to make a call. That wouldn't help with incoming calls either...

I don't have an Apple phone so can't check where to look but it is on the ID mobile list of phones compatible with WiFi calling so should work.

I have my android phone set to default to WiFi calling wherever possible (as reception is poor) and it works well. See if there is a similar setting within your iPhone and change it as this would normally be set to off

Thanks Neil. It's set to wifi calling already. I've tried rebooting, resetting... nothing holds for long.

I spoke to iD again yesterday and they're raising another ticket but at this point my hopes are low!
