Yes the quirk of the fit system earned me £346.77 this month plus all of the electric to run the house and hot water and electric heaters without any use of the grid during daytime.
Hello, I am curious about your FIT tariff that earned you £346.77 per month. We have solar panels and we get on average per quarter what you earn per month, how big is your system & how big is your battery storage? We have 16 solar panels = 4.6kWh and a battery storage of 11.6 kWh.

The Feed In Tariff (FIT) was a government scheme for solar panels installed between 2011 and 2019. It paid homeowners based on the amount of electricity generated, for either 20 or 25 years from the date of installation. The tariff you received depended on the date your panels were installed.
Back in  early 2012 I paid around £8k for my less-than-3kW solar PV system. Your 4.6kWh would have been closer to £14k then, without a battery.
Unless you've got a time machine, you're out of luck.
During this past April, your 4.6kW array probably generated around 600kWh? On a 2011 FIT, that could have paid out £450.

Yeah, I saw that thanks. I did a lot of research after a fellow solar neighbour pointed it out to me and there's no option to use the EV battery as an export payment "vehicle". Also, I'm not keen on leasing a vehicle for £300 / month when I already own two (ICE) vehicles outright. I've waited almost ten years for the battery solution that I'm waiting for (i.e. RoI no more than half the warranty period), so I'll just sit on the fence a little longer.

This is something that is rumoured that the Octopus charger will be capable of.
If it is then a Leaf connected would be a nice option.
