Hi, I am in a discount deal with virgin media until April 26 for M150 broadband only - however, they have gone ahead increased the price from April 25.
I called them to ask if I could move to their cheaper deal, which happens to be a better broadband only deal - and was told no that's only for new customers and if I gave notice to leave them, they would charge me several hundred pounds ! How can this be legal ?

Perfectly legal and exactly what you signed up to when you joined or last renewed your contract.0

Be grateful the increase is only a few quid.At the end of the minimum period it usually doubles. That’s. The time to talk or leave0
