Child benefit

Currently my wife is receiving £170.20 per month from HMRC Child benefit. Her basic salary is £18,500 and my basic salary has just increased to £52k before tax and not including any overtime.
Can she still claim the benefits or is it now time to stop?
I have looked but still confused. Any help would be appreciated

The threshold increased to £60k from 6 April 2024 so fine to carry on claiming.1

However as the higher earner you may be liable to a High Income Child Benefit Charge which means you would have to pay back some (or all) the Child Benefit she received.
The calculation for this is based on adjusted net income (ANI), not what you earn. For most people ANI is total taxable income less Gift Aid donations and relief at source pension contributions (those where the pension company adds 25% to your net contribution).
From 6 April 2024 the starting point for paying HICBC is having adjusted net income of £60,200. So unless you do a lot of overtime you may well be ok.
Also, there is no option to receive Child Benefit on a monthly basis, the £170.20 will be being paid every 4 weeks.2
