How do I become a verified user?
In general, this is limited to household names with a large customer base, companies that have been mentioned by MSE or non-profit advice agencies (see the verified users list).

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. That links a bit old, we'll look at having it changed.
The list was for the days when our forum didn't clearly show who was verified in posts, and you wanted to double-check they were authorised.
These days you can see the blue "Organisation Representative" beside their name.
