Dental insurance recommendations

Can anyone recommend a decent dental insurance provider? Not Denplan. I can’t see the wood for the trees - what should I be looking for?

Does that not depend on what your dental practice offers? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
And why not Denplan?0

I have a dental plan with Simply Health that meets my needs and is affordable. I couldn't find a dental plan that was affordable and provided generous coverage, I suspect they don't exist; however some dental practices are now offering private treatment that is of a similar standard to the NHS and is more affordable than their standard private dental care.1

Are you a member of any trade union or similar club? They often have discounted medical and dental plans, but I don't know how they compare.0

This is one of the plans I'm looking at - Axa seems to be the only other one I can find. And I can't find any comparison sites! It's bizarre.prettyandfluffy said:I have a dental plan with Simply Health that meets my needs and is affordable. Not pointless at allEmmia said:
As I said, they don't 'take' insurance.
I'm looking for a plan that I pay for - where I pay the dental fees, and then reclaim from my insurer. Which is why I'm not looking at Denplan. So far, I've only established Axa and SimplyHealth as options but there's very little online to recommend either of them.0
