    Respectfully, it's probably not best practice to use public computers for online banking. Likely safer to use a phone or a family member/friends device to test.

    If the above confirms an issue with the computer, I'd probably refrain from typing any personal information into any browser until the issue can be properly identified.

    If the OP is not tech-competent, I'd personally just reset the PC (but easy for me to say as I keep everything backed up as a matter of habit).

    A screenshot of the issue would be helpful. The only thing I can think of (assuming they haven't been compromised) is that they have an authentication app set up with passwordless enabled, and they're being asked to authenticate the login.

    I fully agree with what you write. You should never do online banking on public computers.

    When I read the OP,  I saw no statement that they were doing online banking with these accounts.

    If one of the accounts does not have sensitive information, then using l library computer is safe.
    I have signed into one of my account safely many times.
    On all the library computers i have used in the last 5 years, they do a clean install of the operating system, they have security software against malware. When you sign out, the operating system is  closed down.

    I am so sorry, I've mixed up two threads in my mind! Yes no mention of online banking by the OP whatsoever!!
